Interview:
Marc Dessin, 3D interface design team, Autodesk
Marc Dessin is a software engineer at Kinetix, a division of Autodesk.
He overlooks a team of programmers,
in the development of advanced interfaces for the creation and manipulation
of 3D models within the 3Dstudio Max. He suggested that I look into the CHI
(Computer Human Interface conference) conference for up to date information
on interface research being done. I showed Marc some preliminary designs of
my UI enhancements and made adjustments to the interactivity based on his suggestions.
